Mykl Messer Designs is a one
person artisan workshop nestled in the Appalachians of Preston
County, West Virginia in a 120 year old-one room schoolhouse.
Mykl
Messer creates high quality, unique, custom furniture and
lathe-turned-objects using woods of distinctive character and beauty,
precise mechanical joinery, and clean flowing lines.
Ranging
in size from the most delicate and intricate turnings and jewelry
boxes to furniture and architectural woodwork, they can be found
gracing homes, offices, corporate lobbies, and galleries around the
world. I create one of a kind furniture, objects d'arts, canoe and
kayak paddles, and miscellaneous items from native species as well as
exotics. My pieces reflect influences of European, Shaker, and
contemporary design.
Anything from a bud vase to a room full of
furniture!
